Isn’t she beautiful?  Apparently she didn’t get the memo that says newborns are supposed to be sleepy.  She was quite awake and probably wondering what all the fuss and flash was about.  We didn’t get the sleepy, curled up baby shots we’d planned but we got these gorgeous eyes instead.  A good trade, I think!
